Albert Borkent is a seasoned musician with over two decades' experience - a fact evident in the excellent production quality of "Steps Into Space".
The Sol Tek sound can best be described as very futuristic, subtle and deep but also melodic, harmonic and delicate.

Showcasing Immersing Atmospheres and Lush textures "Deeper in the heart of Cosmos" introduces the listener on a 2 hour kaleidoscopic journey over a total of sixteen recordings that range in length from the brief two-minute-fifty-three-second disc opener Calisto through to the The Light Pours Out Of Us at just over thirteen minutes.

Resonating Sub Harmonic Earth Shaking Seismic Frequencies, Cinematic Landscapes and emerging Harmonized Dreams with a touch of sweet chromatic bubbles under a magic hour skyline.
Sol Tek's inspiration is driven from diverse music backgrounds such as Arvo Part, Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze among others, combining electronic driven cinematic music influences under a unique Sol Tek style.
Assuming other musical guises over the years such as Lingua Lustra and Dodecahedron, or with collaborative projects Albert has appeared on numerous other labels : Practising Nature, Databloem, Speedsound Records, Baksish Music and Spiritech music.
Apart from the front cover, imagery luxuriates within a smooth, eternal black field displaying the luminescent 'Camera Painting's of Masashi Kitazato to best effect.
