Hailing from Amsterdam – The Netherlands, Sol Tek is actively writing music for the last 20 years under many monikers and labels.
Sol Tek’s inspiration is driven from diverse music backgrounds such as Arvo Part, Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze among others, combining electronic driven cinematic music influences under a unique Sol Tek style.
Lightscapes II is the long awaited sequel to Lightscapes I released on January 2010 from Electronic Soundscapes.
Deep cinematic drones and floating atmospheres unfold through sonic landscapes and galvanized vocals.
Lightscapes II is one of Sol Tek’s most soothing and atmospheric releases up to now.
Featuring 9 high end tracks, over 1 hour of exclusive music and an epic proportions track spanning over 24 minutes as the most ideal epilogue, Lightscapes II is an album combing classical music structures with the latest electronic production skills and over 2 decades of ambient music production experience.
